Long time back, West African musicians started telling stories rhythmically with the beat of a drum. Also, folk artists from the Caribbean Islands were also telling stories in rhyme. Such phenomenon simply led to the rise in modern-day American rap music. So, rap music started to gain its popularity over time and today millions of people out there emerge to be the greatest fans of rap music. What was once a kind of street art is today the biggest musical genre. With the passage of time many well known musicians started to practice rap music. Many of these musicians perhaps first started rapping on the streets when they were teens and somehow their passion for rap helped them to gain all the fame and success that they have today.
